WordPress Commenting Systems
As Bloggers we know, commenters are few and far between these days, and let's face it, so are return visitors. When we get comments, we get excited and often reply to those lovely people. But do they know we've replied? Most of the time no. If you took the time to comment, maybe asking a question, on someone's blog and never heard a word, would you return to see if they answered? You have social sharing icons, sure, but people are lazy and they're not going to click to share an article. They will, however, share a really good quote or thought provoking message, especially if you make it easy. For a while now some of my favorite bloggers have been using a tool called Click to Tweet. Swiftype: Customized Search for WordPress
Every so often I find a plugin that completely revolutionizes certain sites. One of my recent finds was a custom search plugin for WordPress, known as Swiftype. Swiftype actually creates a custom search engine for your site. When you set it up, you give the tool some time to index all your posts. After that, it automatically indexes every post you write. When readers use your search bar they start typing and Swiftype starts suggesting posts! What's even cooler is you can login at Swiftype, type in a search querey and rearrange the results. This way if you know your apple pie recipe should be the { Read More }
