Twice a month I write articles for the Geek Life column at Blissfully Domestic. I've been writing there for a few years now and am very pleased with the opportunities that have come my way as a result!
One of my favorite places to write, and a site I visit often, is the Untrained Housewife. This site is owned by Angela England. She's one of my best friends in real life, and online. We work together, we share our hearts, and our kids play together. It only seems fitting that some of my favorite posts end up on her blog.
For a few years now, I've been contributing off and on to The Guilty Parent, a site owned by one of my best friends. Nikki is kind enough to let me talk mom-stuff there when I have something to say that won't go over with my geeky audience at Erica Says.
Looking for WordPress tutorials and tips, tech reviews and bargains, social networking advice, photography, and music reviews? Maybe you just like general geeky thoughts. You'll find them all on my technology blog, EricaSays.com. Born out need, EricaSays.com was originally a way for me to post tutorials for the clients of my web development business, TechnoMomDesigns.com. By posting them in a public area I saved a lot of time when it came to answering questions. I quickly realized my site was being hit several times a day by Google searches.
I've been designing websites for over twelve years. I started with Microsoft Publisher, went on to FrontPage, then Dreamweaver for HTML design, spent a year or two designing for Blogger, and landed where I've been happy for the past few years... WordPress development. I love modifying WordPress themes, building anything from a simple blog or placeholder to a robust site for an author. My projects are generally small, but I do enjoy collaborating on larger projects.
