All my life I have loved hot air balloons. They fascinate me and the bright colors always make me smile. A few years ago I learned that there is an annual balloon festival - The Plano Balloon Festival - less than 2 hours from where we live. I've wanted to go, but something has always come up. This year, thanks to tickets from a client of mine, I get to go! And not just me... My whole family. I am so excited and I can't wait to share the photos with you all!
My husband found this tiny gecko crawling on the couch. I caught him and released him outside, but not before taking his picture. I love critters of all kinds and this guy was just so beautiful. I was tempted to keep him overnight to show the kids the next day, but I knew it would be selfish to keep him indoors. Last year there were 3 adult geckos living on our carport. This year there are 4. And this is the second baby we've caught and put outside. They come out at night and eat the bugs that gather near the lights. My kids and I love getting home after dark and counting the
Life has brought a lot of changes and busyness. I've found myself unable to keep up with a multitude of sites. 2015 has been my year to pare down to the basics. And on that note... Two for the Price of One I've combined my old design portfolio and services site with this blog. It just made sense to have them both in one place and to have only one site to maintain. You'll see the changes reflected everywhere

Unless it's really long, it doesn't stay in twists and braids. Most clips slip right out. Hairspray is always needed. Today I'm going to tell you about one of my new favorite things; something that keeps my hair where it should be, and looks pretty too!

Every so often in life we're given a window thru which to see a glimpse of ourselves the way other people see us. For an introvert, this can be a powerful thing. We're not born performers and most of the out of the ordinary things we do or accomplish aren't noticed by the masses. Most of the time I'm ok with that. I prefer to be a strong gear keeping things running under the watch face and let other people do the bright and colorful and fancy. But, there are a few areas of my life, passions I hold and tend to ignore, that surface now and then and when they do I feel whole and happy and ready to take on
